LDE Space Thesis Lab 2023-2024

Work together with a team of students from different disciplines on an interdisciplinary challenge set by a company, governmental organisation or an LDE collaboration of different space related departments. While working on your own master thesis you will meet with professionals and academic experts, follow workshops, lectures and join excursions. As a group you will also be working together on the interdisciplinary result for the challenge. Doing your Master thesis as part of the thesis lab allows you to learn from other students, confront ideas and exchange methodologies.

The LDE Space Thesis Lab programme consists of a series of lectures, events and excursions where you will learn more about the other disciplines involved in the Lab. The interdisciplinary result that you will work on as a team depends on the Challenge and can take the form of a report, a white paper, symposium or other deliverable that is tailored to best communicate the results to the involved stakeholders and to stimulate follow up to your team’s work .

For 2023-2024 the central theme of the LDE Space thesis lab is the use of Satellite Data for Humanitarian Rights. Check the dedicated page for more details on this year’s thesis lab and the application process.
